Networking Installation and Repair Technicians

Our technicians are fully capable of performing all aspects of an install, including placing aerial drop wire from the terminal; and placing the network interface device/network interface jack and wiring the home with inside or outside premise wiring, finalizing with termination into the jack.

Our technicians will be equipped with a fully-outfitted truck and all appropriate tools. Basic test gear will also be utilized that will allow for efficient and timely resolution of trouble calls, including the ability to analyze and resolve trouble back into the network up to the sealed plant.

Additionally, highly skilled install and repair techs are available to perform specific maintenance functions such as isolating and analyzing defective sections to allow pinpoint excavation resolution, thus eliminating a costly capital section replacement work order. Also, these techs can be utilized to perform the process of noise mitigation as well as the elimination/reduction of the digital signal irritant of power influence.

Cable Splicers

Our cable splicers are fully capable of performing section cut replacements as well as new cable splicing, either at reel ends or pedestal locations; as well as installing terminals.

  • Whether it be utilizing modular, amp or Scotchlok applications, we can perform the task wherever it is needed.
  • We can perform new capital splicing or we can perform existing cable throws and cutover.
  • We can provide copper splicers capable of working in plastic insulated cable, Alpeth, Stalpeth , Lead and Gel filled cables as needed.
  • We can provide fiber qualified cable splicers to perform basic splicing at fiber splices. In addition, we can provide splicers that can work the gamut of a full blown fiber to the premise/fiber to the home/fiber to the cell site program.

Fiber Optic Cable Technicians

Our fiber cable technicians can splice fiber, but that's just the beginning. They are also equipped to perform more sophisticated tasks, with utilizing optical time domain reflectometers and resolving issues such as high loss scenarios.

We can tailor a fiber testing plan to include optical return loss, End to End Loss, polarization mode dispersion and chromatic dispersion certification.

In today's hotbed of high speed transport, qualifying your route and certifying the results to allow for upgrades of OC 192 and higher is becoming tantamount to implementing an internet network that is customer friendly as well as customer inducing.

In conjunction with our project managers, central office equipment installation techs and consultants, we can formulate a test plan that can be utilized in a maintenance window that will minimize disruption to your existing network while at the same time allowing you to determine your needs for upgrades to OC 192/OC 768.
